Spotgram (the "App") provides posting of locations featured in anime works, photo posts, reviews, and music experiences connected to works through Apple Music integration. This Policy describes how User information is handled in the App.
Scope
This Policy applies to the App and related services provided in connection with the App. Terms and policies of each provider apply to external services such as Apple Music.
Information We Collect
The App collects the following information to the extent needed to provide its features.
- Account information: Email address, nickname, user identifier (user ID), and similar information.
- User-generated content (UGC): Spot information, text such as reviews and comments, posted images (photos), and information submitted in reports.
- Location information when using relevant features: When Users use features such as maps, distance from current location, or check-ins, the App may collect location information based on device permission. It is not collected without permission.
- Technical information associated with use: Minimum logs required for stable operation and fraud prevention, such as authentication records and request times.
The App integrates with Apple Music and can provide preview or full playback depending on the User's subscription status on their device. Playback availability depends on matters including the User's Apple Music subscription status.
Purposes of Use
- Account registration, login authentication, and identity verification.
- Providing features including posting, browsing, saving favorites, and reporting.
- Preventing unauthorized use and spam, and ensuring security.
- Providing user support and handling inquiries.
- Improving the Service, including investigation for incident response and quality improvement.
- Where Users opt in, communicating new features and important notices.
User-Generated Content and Moderation
The App includes features through which Users can post spot information, images, reviews, and other content. Posted content may be displayed to other Users.
- The App provides a reporting feature for inappropriate posts.
- We may review and remove, hide, or restrict posts that may violate the Terms of Service or applicable laws.
Retention Period
Collected information is retained only for the period necessary to accomplish its purpose of use or for the period required by law. After that period, or when it is no longer needed, information is deleted or anonymized by reasonable means.
Security Measures
The App takes reasonable security measures, including access controls, to prevent leakage, loss, or damage to information. Due to the nature of internet communications, however, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
